Mothers and infants are family members who need to be prioritized in the implementation of health efforts, because mothers and infants are vulnerable to family and general circumstances. One of the problems in the implementation of health efforts that are still a trend is the death of mother and baby. The success of maternal and infant health efforts, of which can be seen from the indicator of Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR). The purpose of this case study is to provide comprehensive and sustainable midwifery care to pregnant women, childbirth, childbirth and family planning, and newborns in accordance with obstetric care standards and authority and using the Varney 7-step obstetric management approach and documented in the SOAP form.
The case study results on Ny. M was diagnosed G3P2A0 37 weeks pregnant with normal pregnancy without any complications. The process of physiological labor is followed by a physiological stage without complications and complications, physiological newborns without abnormalities and complications, and Ny. M plans to use implantable KB. In the care provided, there is a gap in the care of normal delivery that is the use of self-protection tools that are less complete.
The conclusion of this case study result that all process of pregnancy, childbirth, puerper, BBL, and KB is physiological. There are gaps in the application of pregnancy and delivery care. Therefore, it is desirable that any action given to the patient conforms to the established Standard Operating Procedures.
