PERBEDAAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN REMAJA SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH DIBERIKAN PENYULUHAN TENTANG PERNIKAHAN DINI DI DESA SIWATU KECAMATAN WONOTUNGGAL KABUPATEN BATANG

Early marriage done by every woman has a risk to pregnancy and childbirth. This is due to the immature marriage of women who married young to produce children and not ready mentally in the household. Early marriage is one of them due to low education about reproduction in adolescents. In Indonesia, reproductive health education has not been done. According to Siwatu village data in 2015 the population with junior high school education is 18% and marriage under the age of 20 is 0.9%. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of knowledge of adolescents before dn after being given counseling about early marriage in Siwatu village, Wonotunggal sub-district, Batang regency.
This research uses experimental method with preexperimental research design using one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were teenagers aged 15-18 years a total of 234 adolescents from RW I to RW IV in Siwatu village. Sampling in this research using Random sampling. Different test was analyzed with paired T test. All respondents will be given a questionnaire about early marriage.
The results of this study showed the characteristics of female majority respondents in the treatment and control group of 51.4%. While for junior high school education group 60% and control group equal to 62,9%. There is difference of knowledge level of adolescents before and after giving counsel about early marriage with value p value 0,000.
From the results of this study is expected that health workers often provide counseling, especially to adolescents. So that adolescents can receive information both from health workers and social media to expand knowledge about the impact of marriage at a young age.
