PENGARUH AKUPRESUR GALLBLADDER 21 DAN LARGE INTESTINE 4 TERHADAP INVOLUSI UTERUS PADA MASA NIFAS DI PUSKESMAS KARANGDADAP KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Postpartum haemorrhage is the loss of blood between 500 ml or more during labor or the puerperium. Postpartum bleeding may be prevented by uterine involution. Involution or shrinking of the uterus is a process whereby the uterus returns to pre-pregnancy conditions weighing about 60 grams. One attempt to increase contraction is by acupressure.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gallbladder 21 acupressure and large intestine 4 against the involution of the uterus in the puerperium in Puskesmas Karangdadap Pekalongan.
This research design uses quasi-experimental study with pre-post test control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling with the number of research subjects 25 research subjects. The average decrease in the control group was 1.44 cm. While the average decline in the acupressure group Gallbladder Large Intestine 21 and 4 respectively, are 3.17 cm and 3.22 cm. Data processing techniques using independent t-test, Wilcoxon test, and Mann Withney test.
The results showed no effect of acupressure Gallblader 21 against the involution of the uterus during childbirth in health centers Karangdadap Pekalongan (p = 0.000), there is the effect of acupressure Large Intestine 4 against the involution of the uterus during childbirth in health centers Karangdadap Pekalongan (p = 0.005), and no No differences in the effect of acupressure gallbladder 21 and Large Intestine 4 against the involution of the uterus in the puerperium in Puskesmasa Karangdadap Pekalongan (p = 0.760).
The results of this study can be a plan to improve health services that are more qualified, especially for postpartum health services.
