Breastfeeding is set within the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation number 33 of 2012 on exclusive breastfeeding. Article 6 asserts that every mother who gives birth should give exclusive breastfeeding to babies born. The impact if the babies born are not given breast milk is more quickly can result in babies infected with chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes as adults. Infants who are not breastfed exclusively by having the risk of disease. Husband support is a vital part in the success or failure of breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship with family support and midwives support exclusive breastfidig in perspective mothers the health tengaran district semarang. Research design which is used are correlational with cross sectional approach. The population of all mothers of infants aged 6-12 months in January 2017 in Tengaran Regional Health Center Semarang District approximately 546 mothers. Total sample of 85 respondents with a proportionate random sampling technique sampling. Data were collecting by using questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using chi square test. The results showed that most of the support of a midwife is to support as many as 54 respondents (63.5%). Most of the family support is to support as many as 49 respondents (57.6%). Most respondents did not give exclusive breastfeeding as many as 58 respondents (68.2%). There is no significant relationship between the midwife support exclusive breastfeeding in mothers of infants 6-12 months at the Regional Health Center District Tengaran Semarang (p = 0.063). There was a significant correlation between the support of midwives in the practice of exclusive breastfeeding to exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.010). Suggestions of respondents expected to provide breast milk exclusively to her baby and certain that breast milk is the best food for their baby.
