ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA ASMA DENGAN FOKUS STUDI KETIDAKEFEKTIFAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAFAS DI RSUD dr. LOEKMONO HADI KUDUS

Abstract Asthma is an airway obstruction disease with indication of coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. According to Ikawati 2014 the world's death rate due to asthma is estimated to reach 250,000 peoples per year. According to Riskesdas in 2013 the prevelance of asthma is more higher than COPD and cancer. This research was conducted to implement nursing care in asthma the focus of the study is ineffectiveness airway at RSUD dr. Loekmono Hadi Kudus. This case study uses descriptive methods with case exposure and used a nursing process approach. Two patients were involved in nursing care in asthma the focus of the study was ineffectiveness airway. The problem was ineffectiveness airway which related to the existence of spasm airway and retained secretions. Obtained data that the clients experience shortness of breath, heard a voice of wheezing and cough, but sputum can not pull out. For that in overcoming it with effective coughing action to remove the retained sputum on the airway. At the evaluation stage, the clients can pull the spuctum out, but still the wheezing sound can be heard. It can be concluded that the client's problem is partially resolved, because it has not been in accordance with the result criteria. Futhermore, in dealing with asthma client, do effective cough 3 times each day in every morning, daylight, and evening for 5 minutes and do the discharge planning so thet client do not experince a relapse.
