PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN RADIOGRAFI VERTEBRAE CERVICAL PADA PASIEN DENGAN INDIKASI CERVICAL SYNDROME DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD KOTA SEMARANG

Procedure of cervical spine examination to patient with cervical syndrome indication in Radiology Departement of Kota Semarang Hospital is not same with theory. Patient with cervical syndrome indication using AP Axial, Lateral, RPO and LPO. Meanwhile in Radiology Departement of Kota Semarang Hospital use AP Axial and Lateral projection. The purpose from this researched were to know the procedure of cervical spine examination to patient with cervical syndrome indication and why use AP Axial and Lateral projection. The type of this research is qualitative with case study approach. The data retrieval done from April to June 2016 at Radiologi Instalation Public Hospital of Kota Semarang with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The subjects of this research are three radiographers, one radiologist, and one sender doctor. Data Form were processed and analyzed by using Interactive model for can procure conclusion. The result of this researched show that the procedure of cervical spine examination to patient with cervical syndrome indication in Radiology Departement Of Kota Semarang Hospital using AP (Antero Posterior) Axial 15o chepalad and Lateral use imaging plate with size 35 cm x 35 cm. And why use AP Axial and Lateral projection because by using those projections can give an enough information of cervical. For AP Axial showing the discus intervertebrae, corpus vertebrae, processus spinosus, processus transversus, and Lateral showing the zygapopysial joint, processus spinosus, corpus vertebrae, and discus intervetebrae. Just use two projection can be judgment, never got complain from doctor specialis of radiology, and radiograph’s result still worth reading and informative enough but can not showing the foramen intervertebrae.
