Dental and oral health services are innovative programs that are held in the Puskesmas as a whole and integrated with other health programs. Organized by qualified human resources, one of which is dental and oral therapists. To achieve a maximum service required good performance is supported because of the factors that influence performance.The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the performance of dental and oral therapists in dental and oral health services at the Semarang City Health Center in Central Java Province.
This study used an observational method with a cross sectional approach because the measurement of individual characteristics variables, organizational characteristics, work characteristics and performance of dental and oral therapists at the Semarang City Health Center is only done at a certain time. The sample in this study amounted to 45 samples, taken in total sampling.Data analysis was carried out by univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. To find out the factors that influence the performance, the Multivariate Anova test was used.
The results of statistical tests can be concluded that individual characteristics both aspects of age, employment status, years of service and motivation affect the performance of dental and oral therapists where p-value < 0.05 is obtained. Organizational characteristics both aspects of auxiliary energy, medical devices and materials as well as reward systems influence the performance of dental and oral therapists p-value < 0.05.
