PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN SHOULDER JOINT PADA KLINIS TRAUMA (LITERATURE REVIEW)
XMLThe procedure of shoulder joint examination in trauma clinical is carried out by a technique that varies in the literature. This study aims to explain the procedure for shoulder joint examination in trauma clinical based on literature review.
This research is a literature review with descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected in April-May 2020 through Google scholar and Repository with conventional radiography keywords, shoulder, shoulder imaging, shoulder impingement, shoulder trauma, shoulder radiography, modified axial trauma examination, then made a summary of tabulation then examined with other literature such as textbooks to answer the problem formulation so that conclusions can be drawn and given advice at the end of the study.
The results showed that the shoulder joint radiographic examination procedure in clinical trauma uses a patient preparation that is removing objects that can interfere with the radiograph results such as clothes, buttons, necklaces, and breast holders. The use of tools and materials, namely X-ray aircraft, image receptors, markers, softbags, computed radiography, and printers. Projections used in all three literature are AP, axillary view, scapular Y view, grashey view, and Modified Axial Trauma (MTA). AP projection is the main projection and alternative projections that are used in accordance with the clinical and specific patient conditions. Therefore, effective projections are anteroposterior (AP) and scapular Y view which has advantages compared to other projections that don’t require much movement in the object's position and patient's position
