EFEKTIFITAS DISCHARGE PLANNING ROM TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEKUATAN OTOT DAN PENURUNAN KONTRAKTUR SENDI PASIEN STROKE NON HEAMORAGIK

Background: The main problem of non hemorrhagic stroke patients experiencing hemiparesis is muscle weakness and contracture of the extremities. Discharge planning by providing ROM exercises to patients and their families is expected to grow muscle strength and reduce joint contractures in patients after returning from the hospital.
Objective: to identify the effectiveness of ROM discharge planning to increase muscle strength and reduce joint contractures.
Method: Quasy experimental research design with pre-post test design with control group. The research subjects were 34 non hemorrhagic stroke respondents 17 respondents were given a ROM discharge planning training and 17 respondents were given discharge planning in the hospital. Assessment of muscle strength using the Muscle Rating Scale (MRS) and joint contractures with goniometer on the second day of treatment, the seventh day was admitted and the fourteenth day. Data analysis using General Linear Test Model.
