ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN JARUM TIPE PENCIL POINT NOMOR 27 DAN TEH HIJAU DALAM PENCEGAHAN POST DURAL PUNCTURE HEADACHE PADA PASIEN POST SEKSIO SESAREA SPINAL ANESTESI

Indonesian women mostly select cesarean section for their delivery. The impact of spinal anesthesia on cesarean section surgery is PostDura Puncture Headache (PDPH). Health workers cope with invasive therapy that caused patient’s morbidity, not using non-pharmacologic therapy to prevent PDPH.This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of use using point type 27 or 25 pencil point needles and green tea 2 hours postoperative on PDPH.This true experimental study with Post Test Only Control Group Design to compare PDPH incidence in 32 women in labor with cesarean section surgery spinal anesthesia was divided into two groups using point type 27 pencil needle and green tea 2 hours post operation (n = 16) and using point type 27 pencil needle and green tea 2 hours post operation (n = 16).The result of bivariate analysis of incidence of PDPH in the two groups of respondents who were given regional anesthesia using needle type pencil point number 27 and green tea 2 hours postoperative with group of respondents who used needle type pencil point number 27 and green tea 2 hours post operation p = 0.001. The result of bivariate analysis of VAS scale between the two groups was p = 0,002.The use of pencil point needle number 27 and giving green tea 2 hours post cesarean spinal anesthesia is effective in reducing PDPH.
