TEKNIK RADIOTERAPI EKSTERNA KASUS HEMANGIOBLASTOMA DI DEPARTEMEN ONKOLOGI RADIASI MRCCC SILOAM SEMANGGI

Hemangioblastoma is a benign central nervous system (CNS) tumor. Brain tumor radiotherapy techniques can generally be performed using the Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiotherapy (3DCRT) technique, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT). The Technique Radiotherapy Externa Case Hemangioblastoma Brain In Department Oncology Radiation Mrccc Siloam Semanggi was carried out using the IMRT technique with five radiation fields. This study aimed to determine the IMRT technique of External Radiotherapy in the Case of Brain Hemangioblastoma and to find out the reasons for using the IMRT technique on Externa Radiotherapy Cases of Brain Hemangioblastoma.
The type of research conducted by the author is a qualitative study with a case study approach. The author conducted observations, in-depth interviews, and documented data on the Technique Radiotherapy Externa Case Hemangioblastoma Brain In Department Oncology Radiation Mrccc Siloam Semanggi
The results of this study indicate that the Technique Radiotherapy Externa Case Hemangioblastoma Brain In Department Oncology Radiation Mrccc Siloam Semanggi includes the initial consul, CT Simulator, Treatment Planning System (TPS), Verification, and radiation. Reasons for choosing the IMRT technique so that healthy organs near the tumor that are not passed by the light are not exposed to radiation.
