TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN INTRAVENA UROGRAFI PADA KASUS HYDRONEPHROSIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD Dr. R. SOEDJATI PURWODADI
XMLThe procedure for routine intravenous urography examination according to theory Lampignano & Kendrick, 2018 is a 1 minute, 5 minute, 10-15 minutes, 20 minute and post miksi. However, if a radiograph delayed occurs, taking 60 minutes post contrast media injection and 120 minutes. Whereas the procedure for intravenous urography examination in patients with clinical hydronephrosis at the radiology installation Dr. R. Soedjati Purwodadi is a 5 minute photo post injection of contrast media, 15 minute, 60 minue and post miksi photos. The purpose of this study was to determine the examination procedure and the reason for taking a 60 minute photo post injection of contrast media.
The type of this research is qualitative with case study apporach. This research had been done by observation, interview with radiographer, radiologist, doctor who the examination. Data were processed and analyzed by using interactive model.
The result showed that the Intravenous Urography examination procedure in patient with case of of hydronephrosis at the radiology installation of RSUD Dr. R. Soedjati Purwodadi include patient prepation, prepation of tools and materials, examination technique starting from taking plain abdominal photographs then inserting contras media followed by a 5 minute photo post injection of contras media 15 minute photo post injection of contras media, 60 minute photo post injection of contras media and finally post miksi photos. The reason for taking 60 minutes of post contrast media injection is because of the delayed on radiograph of grade I-II hydronephrosis of the new lusen suspicion at the vesicoureter junction and slowly kidney function will decrease. The requiring additional time so that the contrast media can go down and be visualized on the full bladder vesica image. This is evidenced by the 60 minute radiograph showing that contrast media fills the urinary vesica to the maximum and can help establish a diagnosis.
