The coverage of family planning service after delivery with long-term
contraceptive method is still far from the target that is excepted. Counseling is one
of the indicators that most determine the success of family planning in Indonesia.
ABPK and leaflet are tools or medium which can be used in giving information
about contraception. The health centre Ampenan is one of the local government
clinics in the territory of the Mataram city with the coverage of family planning
acceptors post partum qualitative methods of contraception long-term low at
35.46% in 2018
This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of counseling media
combination ABPK and leaflets in pregnant woman in their third trimester toward
the selection of the KB after the delivery method of long-term contraception at the
local government clinics Ampenan, Mataram city, West nusa tenggara.
This research is used a quasi experimental post test only non equivalent
control group design. The numbers of samples are 32 pregnant women in their 3
trimester with the sampling technique using total sampling. The measuring
instruments are used checklist, ABPK and leaflet. The data analysis used
statistical test to non parametric kolmogorof smirnov test
Significant differences between the combination of counseling (ABPK and
Leaflets) and Leaflets on the selection of post-natal birth control long-term
contraceptive methods (MKJP) with p-value = 0.013 (
