ABSTRACT
Technique of chest radiography examination with clinical clavicular fracture in Radiology Installation of RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati using AP, this is different from SPO and the theory in accordance with Bontrager (2018) regarding AP clavicular plan and axial AP projection. This study discusses the technique of examining clavicular radiographs, and the reasons for chest radiographic examination in patients with clinical clavicular fractures.
This type of research is qualitative with case studies. Data retrieval was carried out in February - April 2019 by taking place in the Radiology Installation of RSUD RAA Soewondo Pati by using direct observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out with four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.
The results of the thoracic examination with clinical clavicular fractures in the Radiology Installation of RAA Soewondo Hospital Pati were carried out with AP supine projections, using IP size 35 x 43 cm, FFD 150 cm, with collimation connecting the two shoulder joints or acromioclavicular joint and thorax. Radiation protection given to patients by giving a wide exposure field photographed, selecting the right exposure factor and not receiving an examination. The reason for chest radiographs was performed on patients with clinical clavicular fractures in the Radiology Installation of RSUD RAA SoewondoPati as a comparison between right and left clavicles that can be dislocated in the acromioclavicular joint, to see the type of fracture, fracture, and to see what is needed. relating to the administration of anesthesia at the time of the operation.
