HUBUNGAN MUTU PELAYANAN KIE KB DENGAN TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASANGAN USIA SUBUR (PUS) TERHADAP PELAYANAN KIE DI KAMPUNG KB

Data from the Semarang City Population and Family Planning Control Office find that Tembalang Subdistrict have the most unmetneed numbers in Semarang City. In 2017 the unmetneed number is 3974 (12.64%), and the Kampung KB Sendangguwo is one of the villages in Tembalang District which still have high unmetneed numbers, active KB is low, and is a densely populate area. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between quality of IEC KB service with fertil age couples satisfaction to IEC service in Kampung KB.
This study used the Analytical method with a cross sectional approach . The study population amounted to 635, and the sample used was 86 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used the questionnaire. Analysis of the data used the Spearmen Rank Test.
The research results showed that the quality of IEC KB services was 55 (63.9%), very good 25 (29.1%), and bad 6 (7%). In the level of Fertil Age Couples satisfaction most were satisfied 60 (69.8%), very satisfied 17 (19.8%), and 9 were dissatisfied (10.4%). The results of the Spearmen Rank test showed that there was correlation between quality of IEC (Information Education Comunication) family planning service with fertil age coupels satisfaction to IEC service with p value 0.001, and the correlation coefficient value of 0,798, which means the correlation between variables was strong and direct.
The conclusion is there is a correlation between quality of IEC KB service with fertil age couples satisfaction to IEC service in Kampung KB. From this research, it is expected that extension officers in Kampung KB is going to improve IEC KB services so that people are more satisfied with the performance of services provided by Kampung KB officials.
