ABSTRACT
Primary dysmenorrhea occurs because postaglandin activity arising from a disruption of the balance between postaglandin and postacyclic. This activity will cause ischemia in uterine myometrial cells and increase contraction of the uterus. The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of pelvic rocking gymnastics on reducing the intensity of primary desminore pain. This type of research is Quasi Experiment with Pre Test-Post Test With Control Group Design. Research place for SMP N 1 Kedu. The number of samples is 48 respondents with the sampling technique that is the total sample divided into 3 groups. The experimental group 16 people, the first control group 16 people, the second control group 16 people. This study used an instrument in the form of Bourbonais pain scale questionnaire before and after intervention.
From the research conducted, the results of statistical tests using Wilcoxon obtained p value 0,000; mean rank 8.0 (experimental group), p value 0.002; mean rank 5.5 (first control group), p value 0.003; mean rank 5.0 (second control group). Because the p value is
