STUDI KASUS: PENGARUH PENGATURAN TEKANAN SUCTION TERHADAP PERUBAHAN SATURASI OKSIGEN PADA PASIEN TERPASANG ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE DI RUANG ICU RS KEN SARAS KABUPATEN SEMARANG
XMLBackground:Patients are attached hose and ventilator endotracheal suction mucus in need of assistance. Suction action is necessary to maintain oxygenation but can lead to decreased oxygen saturation, hypoxia and trauma to the airway. The proper suction pressure is the pressure of 140 mmHg / 19Kpa and hiperoksigenasi for 2 minutes to maintain oxygen saturation.
Aim: To determine the effect of suction pressure setting on the oxygen saturation in patients who installed endotraheal tube (ETT) in the ICU with intervention in the form of setting suction pressure of 140 mmHg / 19Kpa and hiperoksigenasi 2 minutes to increase the saturation of oxygen in the RS Ken Saras.
Metode study: The case study design using quasi-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design.pengambilan samples / respondents by purposive sampling accordance with predetermined criteria writers patients and only took 2 respondents to this scientific paper.
Results:Based on the results of the case study obtained data on both the client on suctioning with a pressure of 140 mmHg / 19 kPa and do hiperoksigenasi 2 minutes to maintain oxygen saturation.
Conclusion: Based on the results of the intervention can be concluded that the intervention of the I 140 mmHg pressure settings / 19 kPa and hiperoksigenasi 2 minutes before suctioning proven to maintain oxygen saturation.
