ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELUARGA PADA PASIEN GOUT ATRITIS DENGAN FOKUS STUDI EDUKASI DIET RENDAH PURIN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS GEYER I GROBOGAN

BACKGROUND - Joint disease based on the description of health in the elderly in Indonesia there are 32.99% of cases of gout atritis (Ministry of Health, 2013). In Central Java Province, the prevalence of gout arthritis occurred with a percentage of 25.5% (Health Profile of Central Java Province, 2015). In Geyer 1 Health Center there were 31.86% of gout arthritis cases in 2017 (Data from the Geyer Health Center 1 Laboratory, 2017). An increase in gout sufferers generally occurs due to several factors, namely increasing age (at the age of 40 years and over), genetic (hereditary), food consumed contains high protein, lack of knowledge about uric acid and lack of maintenance of gout diit.
OBJECTIVE - Describe family nursing care in families of patients with gout at arthritis with a focus on low purine diet education studies in the Geyer Health Center Working Area.
METHODS-The design used is a case study design. Namely carrying out nursing care to 2 selected patients using purposive sampling sampling technique.
RESULT- After nursing actions are taken the results of diagnosing knowledge deficits are related to the inability of families to recognize family health problems regarding low purine diits. As evidenced by the nursing evaluation conducted, there was an increase in knowledge about low purine diets.
