Diarrhea is the frequency of defecation or feces more than 3 times a day and is characterized by the consistency of liquid or slimy stool with or without blood in the stool. And deaths from diarrhea are not due to infection from bacteria or viruses, but dehydration or the body loses a lot of fluid.
The balance of fluids in the body is one part of homeostasis fluid and electrolyte balance involves the composition and transfer of various body fluids, body fluids are solutions consisting of (solvents) and certain substances (solutes). The balance of fluids and electrolytes depends on each other, if one is interrupted it will affect the other.
The purpose of this study was to carry out the management of fluid and electrolyte balance in toddler-aged children with moderate acute dehydration diarrhea at Todanan Blora Public Health Center. The research method used was descriptive research method, namely a study conducted with the main objective of describing important events. which is happening now. From the results of the study showed that the patient's condition on the second day, namely lack of fluid and electrolyte volume associated with losing the volume of active fluid can be partially resolved, where the client's fluid needs are met and the child's heat drops
