STUDI KASUS APLIKASI INTERVENSI LEG WRAPPING DALAM MENCEGAH HIPOTENSI SELAMA ANESTESI SPINAL PADA PASIEN SEKSIO SESAREA DI KAMAR OPERASI RSUD TUGUREJO SEMARANG
XMLBackground. Hypotension is the most common complication during spinal anesthesia with an incidence that reaches more than 80% and the incidence of hypotension remains high despitefluid preloading, left lateral tilt position, and vasopressor use. Many methods or methods can be used to prevent or minimize the occurrence of hypotension, both pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. One such method is physical methods such as leg wrapping, which are effective enough to prevent hypotension.
Aim. This study aims to apply leg wrapping to hypotensive events during spinal anesthesia in patients with cesarean section.
Methodology. The study design used a case study conducted in the IBS room of Tugurejo Hospital in Semarang with a total of 4 respondents.
Results. The results showed that 4 respondents did not experience hypotension or systolic blood pressure ≤ 90 mmHg during leg wrapping during spinal anesthesia.
Conclusion. The results of this study recommend the need for management of hypotension in patients undergoing cesarean section surgery.
