ASSESSMENT COMPREHENSION PADA PELAYANAN NIFAS MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI RULE BASED SYSTEM

Background: The puerperium is a critical phase of maternal life, the management of the puerperium is given in accordance with the service standards of the Ministry of Health. However, there are still incomplete physical examination data conducted. The lack of complete physical examination data results in delays in the diagnosis and delays in the administration of therapy which results in the deterioration of the patient's condition. With the use of information systems, the inspection data obtained will be more complete and faster. Data obtained with information systems can be seen anywhere and anytime.
Objective: This study aims to produce a problem solving in providing comprehension assessment in postpartum services using a rule based system information system.
Method: This study uses a rule based system information system. The object of this study was midwife. The subjects of this study amounted to 40 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and checklists.
Results: The results showed that comprehension assessment on postpartum services using a rule based system information system was able to increase the completeness of physical examination data, provide diagnostics and recommendations automatically, increase reporting speed p-value < 0.05 (0.000; 0.002; 0.002; dan 0.000)
Conclusion: Comprehension assessment in postpartum services using a rule based system information system can help solve existing problems with more complete data results, faster diagnosis and recommendations, faster reporting and an effective system for postnatal care.
