TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN COLON IN LOOP PADA KLINIS HEMATOCHEZIA DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA

The aims of the Colon In Loop examination technique of Hematochezia clinical in Radiology Department of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta is to find out the colon abnormality, for instance colitis, diverticulum, ileus, hemorrhoids. The infusion technique of contrast media is a two level double contrast methods using barium sulfate and air. The second aims is to find out the reason why rectosigmoid AP projection is used.
The research belongs to qualitative using case study approach. The data is taken by observation, depth interview, and also documentation. The respondents of the research consist of three radiographers, a radiologist, and an internist. The data is transcribed and analyzed using interactive models to be discussed further as a quotation so that it can be concluded.
The Colon In Loop examination technique of Hematochezia clinical in Radiology Department of PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta consist of patient’s preparation, tools and materials preparation, infusion technique of a two level double contrast methods, and radiograph projection which plain abdominal AP projection, AP and Lateral rectosigmoid projection, full filling AP projection, and two level double contrast AP projection. AP rectosigmoid projection is conducted due to reveal the obvious pathology, for instance hemorrhoids or tumor in the rectosigmoid area. Preferably in a double contrast medium inclusion technique, the consentration of barium sulfat soluble is 75% until 95% weight/volume and if AP rectosigmoid projection has not been able to establish the diagnosis of Hematochezia should be add another projection that is oblique.
