TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN RADIOGRAFI APPENDIKOGRAFI DENGAN DIAGNOSA APENDIKSITIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD SLEMAN

Appendicography examination in Radiology Department of RSUD Sleman is do by taking the radiograph with AP, RPO and PA projection, then using compression auxiliary tool that shape of small plastic bowl on PA projection. This research aim to describe the appendicography examination technique, to know the reason of examine only with AP, RPO and PA projection, then to know the reason of using compression auxiliary tool on PA projection.
This research model is qualitative that approach to case study.The research subject involve Radiographer, Radiologists and Reffering Physician. The research sampel is using patient with appendicography examination. The data collected by observation, documentation study and interview with Radiographer, Radiologists and Reffering Physician. Research data that has been collected will be arranged in transcript and do the data analyze.
Research result show that using AP, RPO and PA projection has been enough to shows the appendix and can be useful to indicate the diagnose. The compression auxiliary tool that shape of small plastic bowl with diameter of 12 cm and height of 7 cm is placed on right lower region, this aim to seperate the appendix that superposition with other organs and to compress the contrast medium in caecum to fill the appendix.
