Examination techniques Intravenous Pyelography in cases of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) at Radiology Department of Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang there is a difference with the theory that is using addition of oblique pelvic projection at 120 minutes. The purpose of this study was to determine the Intravenous Pyelography examination procedure in the case of BPH, the role of Intravenous Pyelography examination in cases of BPH, the reason for adding oblique pelvic projection photo at 120 minutes.
This type of research is a qualitative research case study. Data were collected in December-May 2018 at Radiology Department of Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang with the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Subjects were radiographers, radiologists and physicians sender. Data obtained from the results of observations processed and analyzed using open coding and presented in quote form.
The results showed that Intravenous Pyelography examination techniques in cases of BPH at Radiology Department of Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital Semarang using AP projections for plain abdominal, contrast medium infusion, photo AP projections 7, 15, 30, 60 minutes after contrast medium infusion, photo RPO and LPO projections 120 minutes, photo AP projections 120 minutes after contrast medium infusion, and photo post Miksi. Intravenous Pyelography examination to see the enlargement of the prostate and other abnormalities in the urinary tract. The reasons for adding oblique pelvic projection at 120 minutes aims to look at indentation.
