FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEPATUHAN IBU HAMIL DALAM KUNJUNGAN ANC DI PUSKESMAS TENGARAN KECAMATAN TENGARAN KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Mortality and morbidity on pregnancy and delivery are big problem in the world. Specially in developing countries. This problems can be caused by an irregular antenatal care. Antenatal care (ANC) is an important way to monitor and support the health of pregnant women for getting healthy newborn and mother through normal delivery. The complete antenatal care by a pregnant woman can be seen from the first visit (K1) until fourth visit (K4) during pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine factors that associate with obedience of pregnant women to do complete ANC during pregnancy in Puskesmas Tengaran Kecamatan Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang.
This study was quantitative analytical method with cross sectional approach. Data collection used questionnaires. The sample of this study was the third trimester of pregnant woman in the work area of Puskesmas Tengaran. They were 77 respondents, taken by accidental sampling technique. Age, education, knowledge, and husband support were independent variables, while obedience of ANC was dependent variable. Data analysis used Chi-Square and Fisher's Exact test with α = 0,05.
Results showed there were significant correlation between knowledge and husband support of pregnant women with their obedience in doing complete ANC in Puskesmas Tengaran (p = 0.043 and 0.023). But there were no significant correlation between age and education of pregnant women with their obedience in doing complete ANC in Puskesmas Tengaran (p = 0,400 and 0,766). Therefore it can be concluded that knowledge and husband support are factors that associate with obedience in doing complete ANC.
