Tinjauan Kesesuaian Sertifikat dan Koding Kematian Perinatal Berdasarkan Pedoman Koding Mortalitas ICD-10 di RSUD K.R.M.T. Wongsonegoro Semarang Tahun 2017

The informations of underlying cause of death is very important as a foundation to establish preventive programs to increase public health status. From the result of preliminary studies on December 16th 2017 in RSUD K.R.M.T. Wongsonegoro Semarang it is known that there is no special form for perinatal death certificate used in the hospital. It is also found that the coder mostly do not write down the code in the certificate. This shows inconformity with mortality coding guidelines in ICD-10. The purpose of this research is to identify how far does the comformity in terms of the form, filling in and also coding of perinatal death in RSUD K.R.M.T. Wongsonegoro Semarang compared to the coding guidelines for perinatal mortality in ICD-10. The data is collected with cross sectional approach using observation and interview method with research instruments using interview and observation guidance that contains table of causes of perinatal death code. Samples of this study are 10 perinatal death certificate using purposive sampling technique. The result of this research found out that there are inconformity of the implementation of perinatal death certificate in the hospital. The form of the certificate used is inconform with those displayed in the ICD-10, and even there is SOP regarding the Coding Diagnosis of Death Inpatient, it doesn’t mention about how to fill in and doing coding of the certificate. So the doctor and the coder in charge of the certificate do not fill in and coding according to the perinatal mortality coding guidelines in ICD-10.
