TINJAUAN ERGONOMI RUANG FILING BERDASARKAN ANTROPOMETRI PETUGAS DI RSUD Dr. H. SOEWONDO KENDAL

Ergonomics is the science, art, and application of technology to harmonize or balance between tool, the way, and the work environment toward the abilities, skill, and all human limitations. Ergonomics is usually concerns about anthropometry, because in harmonizing between tools, ways and work environments being convenient with the anthropometry (human dimension) of man. Based on survey results in dr. H. Soewondo Kendal Hospital the researchers found out that the inconvenience of the officers in the filing part caused by discrepancy of the shelf and work room. The purpose of this study is to know the ergonomics of filing room based on the officer’s anthropometry.
The type of this research used is descriptive quantitative. The method used is observation and interview with research instrument of obsevation and interview. The subject of this research are 5 people filing officers.
The result of this research is filing shelves if want to be adjusted with anthropometric officer data that is the shelf formerly height 195 cm adjusted to 183 cm, shelf length 118.75 cm adjusted to 148 cm, shelf width 40 cm adjusted to 42 cm, sub-racks 35 cm height adjusted to 30 cm, the distance between shelves 71.25 cm adjusted to 93 cm. From the results of the analysis it would be nice if the room condition being adjusted with filing officer anthropometries so the officers would feel comfortable while doing their works.
