HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PETUGAS FILING TERHADAP KERAHASIAAN DAN KEAMANAN REKAM MEDIS DI RSUD SLEMAN TAHUN 2018

Medical records are document that need to be kept confidential and secure. The confidentiality of patients information is reserved only for the authorities. Medical record security only allows users who are entitled to the medical record. The results of the preliminary study at RSUD Sleman, the authors did not find any thermohygrometer, APAR, and “selain petugas dilarang masuk” (authorized personnel only) sign and most of the officers are not educated in medical recording and have never followed any medical record training. The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship and level of knowledge of officer in filing room of RSUD Sleman.
This is a quantitative study with survey approach. The samples of this study are all filing officer in RSUD Sleman. The data collecting method was using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis was using univariate analysis.
The results of this research show that in terms of knowledge level of confidentiality, 5 officers (62.5%) are good, 3 officers (37.5%) are enough, and no officers have poor knowledge. In terms of knowledge level of security, 4 officers (50%) are enough, 4 officers (50%) are poor. The correlation tests of the knowledge of confidentiality were cross tabulated with the implementation of confidentiality and Pearson Product Moment correlation value of -0.293 was obtained, which means there are no correlations. The knowledge of security were cross tabulated with the implementation of security and a value of 0,729* was obtained, which means there are strong correlations between the two variables. It is recommended to conduct raining for officers who have not been trained in medical records, install the “selain petugas dilarang masuk” (authorized personnel only) sign in the filing room, provide a light fire extinguisher, thermohygrometer and fingerprint for medical record security.
