PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN INTRAVENOUS PYELOGRAPHY PADA PASIEN DENGAN INDIKASI HYDRONEPHROSIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSUD TIDAR MAGELANG

Urinary system is an organ system of body that has the function to filter, producing, drain, and store urine. Intravenous Pyelography examination procedure with hydronephrosis case at Radiology Department of RSUD Tidr Magelang there are differences with the examination procedure in Bontrager’s theory and Ballinger’s theory of nephrogram phase always done in the seven minute contrast media injected. The purpose of this research were to find out the procedure of intravenous pyelography examination and to find out the reason why do make radiograph 7 minute after contrast media injected.
The type of this research is qualitative with case study approach. This research had been done by observation, interview with three radiographer, one radiologist, doctor who the examination and one patient. Data Form were processed and analyzed by using Interactive model.
The result of this researched show that the intravenous pyelography procedure examination done is plain abdomen photo, photo 7 minute after contrast media injected AP projection, 15 minute after contrast media injected AP projection, 30 minute after contrast media injected PA projection and post miksi with with PA projection photo. Reason why nephrogram phase make radiograph after seven minute contrast media injected because is accord with SOP in RSUD Tidar Magelang and according of the experience, nephrogram phase in five minute getting failure. The getting failure in five minute caused by the volume of contrast media, ureum and creatinin, and obstruction case.
