TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN HRCT (HIGH RESOLUTION COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY) THORAX PADA KASUS BRONCHIECTASIS DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI MRCCC SILOAM SEMANGGI JAKARTA SELATAN
XMLHRCT is the best radiological imaging technique to show structural changes in the lung. HRCT in the lungs can reveal details of the lung parenchyma, to evaluate chronic interstitial pulmonary disease. using thin slices (1mm - 2 mm) high spatial frequency algorithms. procedur of HRCT thorax at Departement Radiology of MRCCC Siloam Semanggi South Jakarta using 0.67mm slice thickness. The purpose of this research is to know the examination technique and the reason for the use of 0.67mm slice thickness in HRCT thorax on Bronchiectasis Case in Departement Radiology MRCCC Siloam Semanggi South Jakarta.
The type of this research is qualitative research with case study approach. Subjects in this study consisted of 3 radiographers and 1 radiologist. The location of the research was conducted at Departement Radiology MRCCC Siloam Semanggi South Jakarta. Data were analyzed by using interactive model.
The results of this study, HRCT Thorax examination in Bronchiectasi case at Departement Radiology MRCCC Siloam Semanggi South Jakarta done with no special preparation, without using contrast media. Position the patient prone feet first by following a breath-resistant breath signal. Área scanning from lung ápex to diaphragm. Scan parameters using a special protocol of HRCT thorax examination, 0.67 mm slice thickness with 0.5mm increment and directly using lung window with y-sharp high resolution filters. Then reconstructed to obtain sagittal and coronal pieces without altering the slice thickness. On the HRCT examination thorax using 0.67mm slice thickness because to produce a detailed picture and sharpness of the lung parenchyma and blood vessels visualized well.
