Background, Jaundice is a common condition in newborns that refers to the yellow color of the skin and the white part of the eye is caused by too much bilirubin in the blood. Fulfillment of fluid needs in newborns with jaundice must be considered in order to meet the process of growth and development.
Objective, to Fulfill the Needs of Fluids In Two Newborns With Neonatorum Jaundice at Dr. Adhyatma, MPH Semarang.
Method, research design used is case study, with descriptive writing method.
Results, indicating the presence of fluid needs in both clients of the calculation of fluid balance during nursing care done for 3x24 hours.
Conclusion, indicating the problem of fluid volume deficiency on both clients can be resolved in accordance with the criteria of fluid balance results are met, there is no sign of dehydration.
Suggestions, socializing operational standards of procedures related to nursing care in newborns with neonatal jaundice, nursing staff can further improve the skills and knowledge they have, parents of infants can treat the infant with neonatal jaundice at home.
