Tingkat Kecemasan berdasarkan Jenis Keamin Pada Tindakan Pencabutan Gigi di Klinik Citra Medika Semarang

One form of anxiety is dental anxiety. The prevalence of dental anxiety in dental care is reported to range 5-20% in various countries. People tend to be more afraid of dental procedures, such as tooth decay and oral surgery. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety of patients by sex on the action of tooth extraction at Clinic Citra Medika Semarang.
The type of this research is descriptive quantitative research that is used to describe or analyze a data research results. The approach used is cross sectional, the cause or risk variables and the consequences or cases that occur in the research object are measured or collected simultaneously. This study was conducted to determine the level of anxiety of patients by sex on the action of tooth extraction at Clinic Citra Medika Semarang.
The results showed anxiety of respondents by gender. From 24 respondents there are 10 (41,7%) of responden are male and there are 14 (58,3%) female respondents. From 10 (41,7%) of respondents of male sex, there were 1 (10%) of respondents who experienced dental anxiety, while from 14 (58.3%) female respondents there were 3 (21.4% ) of respondents who experienced dental anxiety. Conclusions from the research that has been done that women tend to be more anxious than men.
