PENGELOLAAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAFAS PADA ANAK USIA 1-3 TAHUN DENGAN BRONKOPNEUMONIA DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH TUGUREJO SEMARANG

Background, bronchopneumonia is one of pneumonia types that has a spotted spreading pattern, fixed in one area or more inside the bronchi and spreading into the lung parenchym that adjacent around it. Factors that cause this disease are bacteria, virus, fungi, protozoa and living environment. According to preface study that is obtained from medical records of RSUD Tugurejo Semarang on January – October 2017. The number of children between 1 – 3 years that suffer from bronchopneumonia is 138 boys and 85 girls.
Objective,to describe the management of airway clearance on two children who has bronchopneumonia.
Methods, the method used in this case is descriptive research method that aims to describe the nursing incident or phenomenon that related to bronchopneumonia on children.
Result, shows that chest physiotherapy can helps to reduce the disturbance of airway clearance, this is shown by there is no additional breath sound (rhonchi), child breathing frequency becomes normal around 24-40 x/minutes, secrete is secreted.
Conclusion, that generated is individual response for each child to chest physiotherapy is almost the same. This is shown by the result of two clients show that there is a change in breathing pattern on normal span that is 24-40 x/minutes.
Recommendation, approaches to patient and family can urge them to be more cooperative.
