VARIASI RECTANGULAR FIELD OF VIEW TERHADAP INFORMASI CITRA ANATOMI PADA MRI LUMBAL SAGITAL T2WI FSE
XMLExamination of lumbar MRI in patients with cases of lumbar disc hernition at Ortopedi Hospital Prof Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta uses sagittal, axial and coronal and mylographic pieces with long acquisition time so that the artefact possibilities due to the patient's pain reflex becomes enormous. The use of rectangular FOV (RFOV) can reduce the time of acquisition by cutting the direction of phase encoding. This study aims to determine whether or not the difference in anatomical image information and what is the optimal RFOV value on the T2WI FTP lumbar sagittal MRI examination.
This experimental study used 100% RFOV (350 x 350mm), 75% ROV (350mm x262,5mm) and RFOV 50% (350 x 175mm) as independent variable with 8 patient samples. The resulting image of twenty-four images was then assessed by two respondents using an anatomical image information questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed using Friedman test to determine the difference level of anatomical image information and mean rank for optimal use of RFOV lumbar MRI examination.
The value of p value obtained by 0.091 on all the anatomical criteria states that Ho accepted means there is no difference in anatomical image information on the RFOV variation of T2WI FT lumbal sagittal MRI examination. The mean rank of 2.08 from the RFOV variation at 100% indicates that the optimal RFOV value lies at 350mm x 350mm.
