ABSTRACT
Counseling health the teeth and mouth had an important role at the school especially to increase awareness students in care of teeth and his mouth in counseling health teeth required methods by which to attract the attention and can give the impression of deep to participants. A method of extension that commonly done of them is the method Role Play. The purpose of this research is to knows the difference counseling method Role Play in the classroom with at dental clinic to knowledge health teeth and mouth at the Elementary School student.
The research using Descriptive Quantitative method. Approach is Cross Sectional that is research a moment where the data variable the influence and affected done at the same time and design this research is pretest-posttest design. A population in Elementary School in Ngesrep 03 class III as many 30 students. Sample in this research were students class III Ngesrep 03 Semarang divided 2 groups , where each group consisted of 15 students .In analyzed data , researchers used a method of data analysis Descriptive Quantitative is Descripting the results of the researh by number.
The result of this research showed that knowledge was before and after he did counseling by using the method role play increased prosentase, which was originally level his knowledge worked as good as well on the dental clinic that equal, the knowledge which was originally currently good. The research can be concluded method Role Play in the classroom with the methods role play at the clinic teeth there is no difference. So that suggested in health workers the teeth in process of conveying counseling can use method Role Play because interesting and it is not boring.
