PENYUSUNAN STANDART PROSEDUR OPERASIONAL CORE NEEDLE BIOPSY PADA TUMOR PARU DENGAN MULTISLICE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH DR SOETOMO SURABAYA

An accurate examination technique on proving the type and stage of lung tumor can be done by core needle biopsy that collects a sample of the tumor tissue. On collecting the sample, it needs a tool called core needle and one of the techniques to support the core needle biopsy in thorax tumor is MSCT. The examination of core needle biopsy using MSCT at dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya was a new examination that had no standard procedure. As a service guidance material of core needle biopsy, this study aimed to compile the standard operating procedure of core needle biopsy examination and to figure out the application of the standard operating procedure of core needle biopsy examination.
This study is a development research study, which was a method used to produce guidance and then it was tested until the standard operating producedure was obtained. The data was collected by using focus group discussion (FGD) method. The results of the discussion were then reducted and made into a transcript about Standard Operating Procedure Preparation For Core Needle Biopsy On Thorax Tumor Using Multislice Computed Tomography At Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. Soetomo (Dr. Soetomo General Hospital) Surabaya, which was then compiled into a standard operating procedure.
The results showed that the operating procedure preparation for core needle biopsy on thorax tumor using multislice computed tomography at Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. Soetomo (Dr. Soetomo General Hospital) Surabaya have already met the basic theory and better for the patient preparation, tool preparation, positioning preparation, scanning technique,and examination procedure. The application of standard operating procedure of core needle biopsy on lung tumor at the radiology department of dr. Soetomo General Hospital Surabaya to patient showed that it was suitable for patients.
