ABSTRACT
pH Saliva is acidity saliva degree on specific condition. Acidity degree (pH) influence of physiological process is demineralisasi process and remineralisasi teeth hard net in cavity mouth. Distillation liquid of curcuma zedoaria is pure liquid distillation from concentrate. It contains of volatile oil can be saliva stimulate secretion. The purpose of this research is for detect influence of rinse the mouth liquid of curcuma zedoaria in change pH saliva.
This research uses quasi eksperimental with approachment cross sectional. Planning this research uses pretest and posttest. Samples take it whit system purposive sampling. Subjek this research is woman program at village level to educate women in various aspects of family welfare Gubug Village and the total is 49 sample people. This variable influences is mouthwash liquid distillation of curcuma zedoaria. Variable influenced this research is pH saliva. Analisis data with descriptive and quantitative.
Result of this research to indicate that there is influence rinse the mouth with liquid distillation of curcuma zedoaria in to change of pH saliva. The averages this research before rinse the mouth with distillation curcuma zedoaria is 6.5 in acid criteria. Averages this research after rinse the mouth with distillation curcuma zedoaria is 7.2 in chem criteria. Difference of pH saliva before and after is 0.8. This it refers that liquid distillation curcuma zedoaria can used to solution traditional mouthwash for society the one who have pH saliva acid criteria.
