PENGARUH DAUN KELOR TERHADAP PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU POST-PARTUM DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SEKARAN

ASI is a fluid that works to meet the nutritional needs of infants and protect it from disease. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the city of semarang is still very low compared to the national coverage, this is due to the introduction of pralactal and formula feeding, as well as breast milk does not come out or the lack of milk production. The cause of the lack of breast milk production is the postpartum consume less vegetables. Plants that can be used to increase the production of milk that is kelor leaf. This research was conducted to determine the effect of kelor leaf on the production of asi by using 150 gram of moringa leaf, 500 ml water, ½ teaspoon salt, then cooked for 15 minutes and consumed by puer for 14 days. This type of research uses quasy expriment with pre-test and post-test on control group and expriment group. The population is the post-partum mothers day 0-3 in the working area of Puskesmas Sekaran. The large number of sample is 32 post-partum mothers day to 0-3 with sampling technique by purposive sampling. Data analysis using t test and mann-whitney wilcoxon. The results showed that there was influence of leaf of moringa on milk production in post-partum mother. Difference of milk volume before and after in intervention group 823,75 ml. Infant weight in the intervention group between before and after there was a difference of 853ons. The difference between breast milk volume before and after in control group was 347 ml. And infant weight in the control group between before and after there was a difference of 331ons. From the results of this study is expected to more people actively seek information through the media or come to the local health workers on how to increase milk production by using plants that can be processed into vegetables to provide nutrition maternal and infant mothers.
