STUDI DESKRIPTIF FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRAKTIK BIDAN DALAM PENANGANAN STABILISASI PREEKLAMSI DI PUSKESMAS SUBAH KABUPATEN BATANG

Preeclampsis and eclampsia are the three major causes of maternal death. In the treatment of severe preeclampsi and eclampsi use magnesium sulfate (MgSO4). At present, there is a tendency of the Independent Practice Midwife (BPM), in the case of severe preeclampsia without giving MgSO4 first. So MgSO4 is given in the first place of reference. The purpose of this research is to know the description of factors influencing midwife practice in handling the stabilization of preeclamption or eclampsi.
This research type is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in April-May 2017 in the working area of Puskesmas Subah Batang District. The sample in this study is all midwives who are in the work area of Puskesmas Subah Batang Regency as many as 35 respondents.
The results of this study obtained some respondents in this study early adult age
(45.7%). Has a D III Education (97.1%) of respondents, and has a long working period of
more than 3 years (77.1%) of respondents. Midwife knowledge level about handling of preeklampsi stabilization at most is good, equal to (77.1%) of respondents. Midwife facilities and infrastructure in the effort of stabilization of pre-eclamption were mostly included in the complete category, amounting to (51.4%) of respondents. Midwife skills in the stabilization of pre-entry into the category of competence, amounting to (80%) of respondents.
Puskesmas is expected to communicate with midwives related to facilities and infrastructure related to stabilization of preeclampsia. This is because based on the results
of univariate analysis found many midwives who do not have the means and complete infrastructure for stabilization of preeclampsia
