Exclusive breast milk is the best food for babies from birth to 6 months of age. In the work area of Puskesmas Bojong 1 exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2014 amounted to 14.35%, 2015 of 66.75% and in 2016 of 37.48% said to be low because the maximum limit in pekalongan district is 50%. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influenced the exclusive breastfeeding practices in the Bojong Health Center Working Area 1
This research uses research design Analytical Survey with Cross Sectional approach The research population is 385 breastfeeding mothers and infants aged 6-11 months in the work area of Bojong Puskesmas 1. Researchers take a 25% percentage of the population to be sampled
Based on the results of the research is known Knowledge Mother most is Good, mother education at most is Middle Mother Education, Mother work most is IRT, Age Mother is at most 20-35 years Support Nearest Person Mother most is Not Support. There is a maternal knowledge level, maternal education and support of the nearest mother with exclusive breastfeeding practices in Bojong 1 Community Health Working Area, No Maternal and Mother Age Relations with Exclusive Breast-feeding Practice
The results of this study can provide information and increase knowledge of mother, family, and community in exclusive breastfeeding
