Maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) in Indonesia is still high with compared other ASEAN countries. According Manuaba (2010), Indonesia is the country with the highest
maternal and perinatal mortality with estimated deliveries in Indonesia annually about 5000,000 inhabitants. It’s can be described that MMR of 15.000–15.500
annually or occur every 30-40 minutes. The infant mortality rate of 40/10,000 to about 200,000 or occur every 25-26 minutes.

In the care of puerperal women do not find the gaps in theory and practice . In Kb care also did not reveal any gaps.
The conclusion of this final report on the implementation of midwifery care that there is a gap between theory and practice of midwifery care. Suggestions for the land which is to always check the midwife Hb0 immunization supplies and people to take immediate checkups when it knew of her pregnancy.
