PENGARUH PENYULUHAN DENGAN METODE ROLE PLAY TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENGGOSOK GIGI PADA SISWA TK SENDANG MULYO SEMARANG

Skill is a high-level ability that enables one to perform a complex deed smoothly with precision. One of the practice skills is brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth is the recommended way to clear plaque on tooth surfaces and gums. Counseling with role-play or role-play methods is one of the more opportunities children explore, so understanding of basic concepts and understandings can be understood by children more easily. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of counseling with role play method on tooth brushing skills at Sendang Mulyo Semarang students.
This research method is a quasi experiment, with approach, observation, or data collection and research design of pretest and posttest design group. The sample of this research is Sendang Mulyo Semarang students as many as 47 students. Measurements are made using check list sheets. Data analysis used is descriptive quantitative presented in tabular form.
The results showed that there was an increase in brushing skills by extension of role play method from unskilled criteria to skilled. There is an increase in the average brushing skills before the counseling with the role play method is an average of 10, then after the counseling with the method of role play the average brushing teeth to 13. It can be advised counseling skills to brush your teeth with role play method influential in Counseling for childhood.
