[English Title: Brain Gymnastic Actions in the Elderly who Decreased Memory at the Working Area of Srondol Public Health Center of Semarang City] Background: Elderly decreased both in biological and psychological aspects that can cause various problems. One of the problems facing the elderly is the decreased memory. Decreased memory in the elderly need to be managed will so as not to aggravate the quality of life of the elderly, one of them trough brain gymnastic. According to many studies, brain gymnastic can have a positive effect on cognitive function on the elderly. Purpose: This Research was conducted to describe nursing care in the elderly who decreased memory ranging from assessment, intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing. The method used is descriptive with case study design. The instrument used to determine the presence of cognitive impairment is the MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination). In this case there are 2 elderly with a decreased memory. Result: Both clients are able to maintain cognitive function, evidenced by the increase in MMSE (Mini Mental State Examination) between before and after the action of brain gymnastic done.
