PENGELOLAAN NYERI NEUROPATI PADA Ny.S DAN Ny.R DENGAN DIABETES MELITUS (DM) TIPE II PADA KELUARGA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SRONDOL, BANYUMANIK, KOTA SEMARANG
XMLBackground : Pain neuropathy diabetic (PND) is the most common complication from people with diabetes mellitus. This condition occurs because of chronically high blood glucose. The appearance of pain will be followed by other problems that can decrease the quality of life of the patient. According to some studies, leg exercises can improve blood circulation and can lower blood sugar levels. Therefore, leg exercise can be one of the treatment that can be given to the patient with PND. Objective: to know the effect of leg exercise to patient with pain neuropathy diabetic type II on work area of Srondol Health Center. The type of this research is descriptive and the method is case study. Subject: two peoples with PND. In this case study, the author use DN4 (Douleur Neuropathique 4 Questions) to diagnose PND and use NRS (Numerical Rating Scale) to measure pain level. Leg exercise activities performed 4 days, with duration 30 minutes a day. Result: Leg exercises can reduce the pain neuropathy diabetic. There is a decrease in the scale of pain in both patients, the pain scale of both clients before the treatment for 4 days is 3 while the pain scale after the treatment for 4 days is 2. Suggestion: check blood sugar level in the morning.
