pregnancy often presents risks and complications that can endanger the pregnancy or during labor that has risk of death. The maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate are still high in Indonesia, in 2012 the maternal mortality rate reached 359 per 100 000 live births and the infant mortality rate in 2012 is 19 per 1,000 live births . Demak district while the maternal mortality rate in 2014 is 81,68 per 100000 live birth.While infant mortality rate in 2014 is 6,4 per 1000 live birth. The purpose of this report is giving obstetics care beginning of period pregnancies, childbirth, postartum, birth weight and family planning.
The writing of this scientific paper is in the form of case study by using midwifery process approach with Varney and SOAP management.
The result of this research is obtained a diagnose from Mrs.Z, 32 years old G2P1A0, age of pregnancy 38 weeks physiological, and physiological delivery which is followed by postpartum normal phase.
In this case, there is discrepancyin 10T realization of pregnancy, there is a discrepancy in the delivery is no application of delivery assistance with 58 normal delivery care steps standard. In puerperal found a gap in Fe provision is not in accordance with the theory. On the other hand, there are no discepancy both in neonatus care and family planing care.
The conclusion of the research is the care been given comprehensively ranging from pregnancy to postpartum still found the gup between the theory and practice of care. In providing quality midwifery care which of course refers to the standard practice of obstetrics.
